Dr Novikova offers virtual consultations for patients who are unable to attend in person or prefer the convenience of a remote appointment. These consultations are ideal for discussing health concerns, reviewing results, or planning investigations and treatment — all from the comfort of your home.

How It Works

Virtual consultations are conducted via a secure video platform powered by Cliniko.com.

• A link to connect will be included in your appointment confirmation and reminder emails.
• Simply click the link at the time of your appointment to begin the consultation — no additional login or software needed.

Before Your Appointment

1. Complete the New Patient Form – the link is included in your appointment confirmation email.
2. Email the practice to notify that the form has been submitted.

If you are an existing patient and you have not seen Dr Novikova for over 12 months please complete an existing patient form.

This allows Dr Novikova to review your medical history in advance and prepare any required referrals.

Pre-Consultation Testing

After reviewing your New Patient Form, Dr Novikova may email you referrals for relevant investigations to be completed before the consultation, such as:

• Blood tests tailored to your symptoms or risk factors
• Self-collected HPV test (an effective alternative to the Pap smear)
• Breast imaging – including mammogram and ultrasound annually from age 40, or earlier if risk factors are present
• Bone mass density (DEXA) scan – from age 50, every 5 years if previous results are normal
• Any additional tests relevant to your situation

Having these results available allows for a more personalised and informed discussion during your virtual consultation.

What to expect after the consultation

Dr Novikova will discuss recommendations during the consultation and email you a prescription for medications if necessary
