Please note patients with abdominal or pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, urinary symptoms, on menopausal hormonal treatment, with symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse require pelvic ultrasound for appropriate assessment.

Virtual Consultation

• Existing patients:
• within 6 weeks of face-to-face consultation including follow-up with results – R250
• within 6 months of face-to-face consultation – R550
• after 6 months from face-to-face consultation – R1 100

Consultations within 6 weeks after surgery are complimentary.

Surgical procedures under general anaesthesia

Surgical procedures performed in the  hospital under general anaesthesia require quotation after an assessment. 

Approximate costs:

• Major surgical procedures (hysterectomies, myomectomies, excision of endometriosis, removal of cysts) is around R100,000 including Dr Novikova’s and her surgical specialist gynaecologist assistant’s fees, anaesthetist, theatre time and hospital fees

• Minora surgical procedures (hysteroscopies, intrauterine device removal and insertion, endometrial ablation with NovaSure, Bartholins cyst marsupiliasation, LLETZ, Botulinum toxin injection for Vaginismus, sling for urinary incontinence) including Dr Novikova’s fee, theatre, hospital, anaesthetist is around R35,000.
